2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is strictly necessary to provide our service:

• Wallet Address: Your Ethereum-compatible wallet address (e.g., MetaMask) is used as your unique identifier. We do not collect your private keys under any circumstances.
• Encrypted File Metadata: When you upload a memory, we store the Arweave transaction ID, encrypted file description, media type, and your wallet address in our database. The actual file content is stored on the Arweave blockchain — encrypted and inaccessible to us.
• Usage Data: We may collect anonymized usage statistics (e.g., number of uploads, feature usage) to improve our service. This data is never linked to your identity.
• Google Calendar Data: If you connect your Google Calendar, we access only the permissions you explicitly grant. We do not store your calendar data on our servers.

3. How Your Data Is Protected

Privacy is not a feature — it is the foundation of Coopa AI's architecture:

• AES-256 Encryption: All files are encrypted locally on your device using your MetaMask wallet signature as the encryption key before any upload occurs.
• Zero-Knowledge Architecture: We have no access to your encryption key. We cannot decrypt, read, or share your files — even if legally compelled to do so, as the decryption key never leaves your device.
• Permanent Blockchain Storage: Encrypted files are stored on the Arweave blockchain — a decentralized, immutable network not controlled by any single entity, including us.
• No Password Storage: Authentication is handled entirely through your Web3 wallet. We store no passwords.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information solely to:

• Provide and maintain the Coopa AI service
• Enable you to retrieve your stored memories via natural language queries
• Process AI-powered requests through Google Gemini API (queries are processed in real-time and not stored)
• Improve platform performance and user experience

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Third-Party Services

Our platform integrates with the following third-party services:

• Arweave / Irys Network: Decentralized permanent storage layer. Data stored here is public on the blockchain but encrypted and unreadable without your private key.
• Google Gemini API: Powers our AI assistant capabilities. Queries are processed per Google's privacy policy and are not retained beyond the session.
• Google Calendar API: Optional integration for calendar features. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
• Polygon Network: Blockchain network used for payment processing. Transactions are public by nature of blockchain technology.

6. Data Retention

Metadata stored in our database (transaction IDs, encrypted descriptions) is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your metadata at any time by contacting us at info@coopaassistant.com. Note that data stored on the Arweave blockchain is permanent and cannot be deleted by us or anyone else — this is a fundamental property of the Arweave network.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account metadata
• Object to certain processing activities
